America Today

I collaborated with America Today on a capsule collection that includes socks, sweaters, and T-shirts. The theme they gave me was New York City, and I had complete creative freedom apart from that.

Since it's a Dutch brand inspired by the USA, I wanted to focus on this outsider perspective. I envisioned following a Dutch tourist on their trip to New York and seeing what stands out to them. I drew inspiration from my own travels to the Big Apple. I imagined the souvenirs they collected: matchbooks from various locations they visited, cheesy keychains, postcards, and Polaroid pictures of themselves in front of the Guggenheim or a pretzel cart.
